AI agent examples, with the results they produced

By the Wobble team

A real estate business in the USA has inbound and outbound voice agents on more than 500 calls a day, and our record of work shows $114k saved per year against the cold-calling team they replaced.

An AI agent is software that takes a goal, uses tools such as a phone line or a CRM, and acts without a person approving every step. These AI agent examples are all ours, and each figure stays with the case it came from.

What are real examples of AI agents in business?

Four examples from our work are set out below. Clients are described by industry and country, never by name.

Agent typeBusinessWhat the agent doesRecorded result
Voice agentsReal estate, USATakes inbound calls and makes outbound calls, more than 500 a day$114k saved per year; 24/7 inbound coverage
Document productionRTO (vocational training), AustraliaBuilds audit-ready training packs in one audited automation of 34 AI nodesGross margin 94%, from under 35%
AI callingAnother real estate business, USAMakes outbound calls to investorsConversion up 40% after AI calling; outreach cost down 60%
BookingEye care, USA (New York)Handles booking conversations with people who respond to ads82 conversations via AI booking

Only some of each result belongs to the agent. At the eye care business, the 82 conversations are the booking agent's work, while impressions and click costs belong to the ad campaign. We keep those apart. We have left out our building materials case in Germany, because it is a one-system build for leads and not an agent example.

What does an intelligent agent look like in real life?

Take the voice agent at the real estate business in the USA. On inbound calls it answers at any hour, which is the 24/7 coverage in the record. On outbound calls it does the dialling that a human cold-calling team used to do. When a conversation needs a person, the team takes over from there.

The $114k a year is a saving set against that cold-calling team. It is a different claim from new revenue, and we do not present it as one. A cost per click is likewise not a sale.

How does an AI agent produce documents, and what changed in the numbers?

An AI agent that builds documents is the example with the cleanest before and after. At the RTO business in Australia, every audit-ready training pack used to be built by hand. We rebuilt the delivery line as a single audited automation of 34 AI nodes. Gross margin is now 94%, from under 35%, measured against the same delivery line before and after.

The record also shows about $4 of AI cost per full unit pack, and 94 units delivered in the first 2 months. The word audited matters. The work stays checkable at each step, so the agent runs inside the discipline of the job and does not replace it. If your agent has to answer from your own documents, RAG versus fine-tuning explains the choice you will face.

Which business functions can an AI agent handle?

Our cited cases cover sales calling, appointment booking, and delivery and production. They do not cover HR or IT, so we make no claim there. Pages that promise an agent for every department usually have no case behind most of them.

The booking pattern carries over to other trades. If you run a travel business, AI for travel agencies shows how it applies to enquiries and bookings. If your customers write in Urdu or Roman Urdu, AI in Urdu and Roman Urdu covers what changes.

What are the main types of AI agent?

There is no official list, and vendors name them differently. From what we have built, four types cover most of it: voice agents that take and make calls, booking and chat agents that handle conversations, document agents that produce structured work, and content agents that run search and publishing tasks, as in our seven-agent SEO system. Each is defined by the job it does, not the model behind it.

Where do GitHub and code fit in?

GitHub samples teach you how agents are put together, but a sample is not a business system. The hard part is connecting an agent to your phone line and CRM, then measuring what it does, which is what custom AI agents are about.

What does an AI agent cost, and when is it not a fit?

No agent price appears on this page. The one published figure we hold is for something different: a business website of up to 8 pages, with AI chat included, costs $2,000–4,500. That is a website, not an agent build.

Agent pricing depends on the build. Some projects are a one-time build, some are a monthly service, and some are both, and we set it once we know the job. You own what we build. Monthly services stop in any month, with no lock-in. A new idea that comes up mid-project becomes the next phase, quoted first and never added quietly.

It is not a fit if you want work done free or on a revenue share. We do neither. It is also not a fit if you expect an agent to fix a process nobody has defined. Where an agent works, the job was clear before the AI went in.

How do we know these results hold?

We do not ask you to take them on trust. Across 25+ engagements we have shipped 120+ automations in 6 countries, and every case above is on our work page with its figures. Results belong to those businesses and their conditions, and yours will differ. The booking form on this site is the quickest way to tell us the job, and we will say plainly whether an agent suits it.
